Field Services
Unyazi provides onsite technical support for industrial valves, actuators, digital valve controllers and related flow control equipment.
Our field technicians assess equipment within its working environment, allowing faults and performance problems to be examined under actual operating conditions. Support is available for planned work, urgent failures, equipment commissioning and site-wide assessments.
Onsite Support for Industrial Equipment
Some valve and automation problems are best investigated at the plant rather than after equipment has been removed. Unyazi’s field technicians bring the necessary technical knowledge and diagnostic equipment directly to your facility. This allows our team to assess the valve, actuator, instrumentation and control system as a complete operating arrangement.
The findings help determine whether the equipment can be adjusted or repaired onsite, or whether workshop servicing is required.
Unyazi’s Maintenance Support Services
Planned Onsite Services
Scheduled inspections, testing and preventative work can be coordinated with your operating and maintenance calendar.
Emergency Onsite Services
Responsive technical assistance is available when unexpected valve or automation failures affect production.
Inline Valve Testing
Where practical, valve performance can be assessed without removing the unit from the pipeline.
Instrument Calibration and Validation
Positioners, controllers and related instruments can be checked and calibrated within the installed system.
Start-Up and Commissioning
New or upgraded equipment can be configured, tested and prepared for reliable operation.
Site Evaluations and Walkdowns
Installed valves and automation equipment can be recorded and assessed to support maintenance planning.
Planned and Emergency Onsite Services
Planned field services help identify wear, calibration problems and developing faults before they interrupt production. Unyazi can arrange inspections, testing, preventative maintenance and minor repairs around scheduled plant activities. This approach helps extend equipment life and allows maintenance work to be completed with less disruption.
When an unexpected failure occurs, our technicians can attend the site to identify the cause and recommend a practical response. Where possible, faults are corrected onsite. Equipment requiring extensive restoration can be transferred to Unyazi’s workshop.
Inline Testing and Instrument Calibration
Inline testing provides information about valve performance under actual site conditions without unnecessary equipment removal. Unyazi can assess valve movement, response, shutoff behaviour and signs of leakage where the installation and operating conditions allow. These checks can help identify worn parts, calibration errors and possible failure risks.
Digital valve controllers, positioners and related instruments can also be calibrated and validated onsite. The equipment is checked to confirm that it responds correctly, reaches the required positions and communicates accurate information to the control system.
Clear findings and recommendations can be provided to support maintenance decisions.
Start-Up and Commissioning
New valves and automation equipment must be correctly configured before they enter normal operation. Unyazi can assist with start-up and commissioning for newly installed or upgraded systems. This may include travel adjustment, actuator setup, controller calibration, signal verification and functional testing.
The complete assembly is checked to confirm that the valve, actuator and control equipment operate together as intended. Correct commissioning helps reduce early operational problems and provides a stable starting point for future maintenance.
Site Evaluations and Walkdowns
A site walkdown provides a clearer picture of the condition and configuration of installed valve equipment. Unyazi can inspect valves, actuators and automation components across the facility. Available information such as equipment tags, serial numbers, condition and visible faults can be recorded during the assessment.
The findings can help identify:
Equipment requiring immediate attention
Developing maintenance requirements
Missing or outdated asset information
Obsolete equipment
Opportunities for automation upgrades
Valves requiring workshop assessment
Field Service Support Agreements
Unyazi can provide ongoing field service support based on the requirements of the facility. A service support agreement may include scheduled inspections, periodic testing, priority technical assistance and planned equipment assessments. The service scope and frequency can be aligned with the installed equipment, operating risks and maintenance schedule.
This gives plant teams consistent access to technical support while helping create a more predictable approach to equipment care and maintenance costs.
